Missing the Beach
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
CONTENT WARNING: this game contains mention of transphobia and Covid/pandemic.
I wished I could escape...
Is what Nat is thinking. They are dreaming to go to the beach.
Unfortunatelly, it looks like Nat is stuck: unable to transition or to success their studies. But still, dreaming doesn't hurt, doesn't it?
In their room, Nat deals with pressure and shattered dreams. The future is dark and looks too incertain to allow Nat to project themselves. But maybe a bit of imagination could help them.

This was a lovely read, the ending surprised me! Great work <3
Really, really lovely art and such a clever use of the jam limitation. The ending is surprising and wonderful. Wish that could have happened to me during the pandemic!
Suggestion: I think it could have been written with a little more dialogue to break up the internal monologue. For example, a teacher line saying "Are you listening?" I like the internal monologue but I do think it would be nicer in shorter sections.
Everything in this is excellent! The direction and writing is fantastic and I love the creative use of the one background. :D
Thank you and I'm glad you liked it! ^^
I loved everything about this!! Great presentation and the subject matter was handled really well
